    Questions we are often asked

How does reselling an off-plan unit work?

Most developers allow a resale once a minimum share of the price has been paid, commonly 30% to 40%, and some require more. The seller obtains the developer’s no-objection certificate, the buyer takes over the remaining payment plan, and the assignment is registered with the Dubai Land Department. Your advisor confirms your developer’s threshold and fees before we market the home.

What does it cost to resell through Renaissance?

Our fee is agreed with you in writing before we begin and is payable on completion. Developer NOC fees and any transfer costs vary by project and are set out alongside it, so there are no surprises at transfer.

    How is my home marketed?

Discreetly. We present the home first to our own client base and advisor network, then through considered photography, film and selected channels. We do not list widely or discount to create noise.

How long does a resale take?

A well-priced resale in a sought-after project can complete within a few weeks; the NOC and transfer typically add two to four weeks. Your advisor gives you a realistic timeline for your project before you decide.
